Posted 5 years 112 days ago ago by Jamee Villa

CalPERS has stationed representatives in Chico to aid members with any CalPERS-related matters in an effort to aid those affected by the tragic fires in Butte County. The California Office of Emergency Services, along with FEMA, have opened a Disaster Relief Center (DRC) that will run for an undetermined period of time. CalPERS representatives are available to assist members with address changes, direct deposit elections, and changes, beneficiary matters, replacement health plan ID cards, along with other retirement and health benefit matters. There are also pharmacy reps stationed at the center, prepared and able to work with members and fill prescriptions for at least one week on the spot. CalPERS is honoring lost or destroyed prescriptions and prepared and able to work with members who no longer have an address.
